To the north of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Zone, within a gated community and in direct dialogue with a fragment of forest, this house sits on an irregular terrain that offers, to the north, a clear view between the treetops. To reach it, the architecture is detached from the ground by means of a perimeter wall that elevates the building, provides privacy and builds a serene relationship with the landscape.
The house is divided into two complementary volumes. To the north, an open body that faces the forest and is bathed by a soft and constant light. To the south, a more closed body, which protects from the sun and houses functions that require greater privacy. Both are articulated through a central double-height space, crossed by a tree that grows from a courtyard and becomes the symbolic axis of the house.
